Paltrinieri
PIRIA
Piria… "The Piria is a large funnel made from half-oak barrel pieces; an object commonly used each vintage up to the modern age. The Piria is represented in the cycle of bas-reliefs dedicated to the months in the Modena Cathedral. The design on the label was made by observing one that belongs to the collection of agricultural tools of the Paltrinieri family." Piria represents the only Paltrinieri offering to engage both the Sorbara and Salamino grape. It is the entry-level to the more sublime 100% Sorbara offerings but still offers fresh and delightful flavors at extreme value for organic and excellent wine.
