Growing Location : Castelnuovo Berardenga (Siena)

Characteristics of the Vineyards : Hillside vineyard facing south-west (250 meters above sea level) in the Chianti area, South-West exposure.

Wine-Making Process : Traditional, in stainless steel vats for 10 days at a controlled temperature (28-30 ° C). Period of maceration on skins at the end of the fermentation process (roughly 20 days).

Aging : 16-18 months in small French oak barrels, followed by 6 months in bottles

Alcohol Content : 14% vol 

Recommended pairings : Grilled red meats, roasts and medium and long-aged cheeses.
